I don't have the car maunal anymore.
Okay so all my brakes lights when out the other day including the one sit in the back windows.
Turn signals all work. Reverse light work.

I looked at all fuses and they are good.

I looked at the brake light switch and replaced it with new one.

Check the bulbs of course and they are good also.

I'M PUZZLED what might be my problem why I have no brake lights

Any thoughts would be nice

do your tail lights turn on?

If so it could be your brake light switch. should be located at the brake pedal. about $10-$20 at your local retailer and easy to fix.

can you read...

anyways back to the issue at hand,

it could be a fuse, sometimes they get old and corroded (depending on where they are in the car, maybe somethings getting into the fuse box and shorting it?)

could also be a worn out wire somewhere in the system, before the split to each brake light, (from after the fuse box until the 1 wire from the box splits into the 3 separate ones in the rear of the car)

i'd check the voltage and current through each wire starting at the brake lights themselves, i mean technically it should be before that split, because all 3 arent working, and, if you find a dead wire, trace it back to the source, bad connection, damage, fuse, etc etc.

it's a tedious job but if you know your way around a multimeter and your wires arent too hard to get to, you should be able to find the source of your problem in an hour or less.

i also suggest buying a few metal crafting T-pins, in my electrical troubleshooting class we used these because they fit inside connectors and things without damaging anything (if youre careful) and we could poke through wire insulation without causing serious damage to the insulation of the wire.

hopefully this helped, update us on the status!!

ps, fingers crossed its just a fuse blown or a loose connector that wiggled its way off!
