Hello everyone,

I am having some major problems with my 88 GTA overheating. I have replaced the thermostat 3 times now, I have flushed and cleaned the entire radiator, I have made sure the fan is working properly. I am quickly running out of options. I have made sure the fluid is flowing and it seems to be. Im just not sure what else it could be. It will sit around 190-210 while idling and as soon as i start to drive it the temp rises very quickly.

Does anyone have any idea on what it might be and what i can do to fix it

I'm not a mechanic and everything below could be false,

Could there be a possible bad combustion ratio ? If there is too much or too lean gaz mix, this could lead to higher temp in cylinders ?

This said, do you have any input about maf and o2 sensors ?

is exhaust hot ? red ? no heatshield between leaders and radiator

Any check engine codes ??

I'll just quote this, because I'm about 75% sure this is the issue..
