I would go off what the onwer manual says or set it to 32 and call it a day.

It's on the sticker on the driver side door jam. Can't miss it. Has pressure levels for front, rears and spare. Some models have different levels for fronts and rears, though I'm pretty most Jetta's will be the same.

What brand tires? A lot show right on the sidewall.
