I don't see anything helping your awd statement.

It sounds like you should be driving a cruise missile as a DD.

I really like the new Miata having never really been a fan.

Still, I prefer my brz and pray I am not disappointed when the second generation comes out.

I was never a fan of the Miata, but it looks pretty sweet.
I know it's light as hell but damn that thing has like no power.

Putting a bigger or faster engine in it kind of defeats the purpose of the Miata. It's only 150 HP but it does 0-100 in 5.9. Not fast, but it's quick, and more importantly it feels fast even if it's not. The designer of the Miata came out and said there are no plans to increase the power on the MX-5 because that's not what it's about. The only car that approaches the Miata in weight that isn't a total garbage bin on wheels is the AR 4C, and that's twice the price. The base BRZ has a 50 HP advantage on the Miata but it's 0-60 times are .5 seconds slower. The base Camaro has a 168 HP advantage on the Miata, and delivers exactly the same 0-60 times. Raw power isn't everything. Depends on what you're looking for in a car.
