Make sure to drive it on the freeway and go over 80 MPH, this will ensure the suspension isnt shot!

Also check the exterior body for un-matching sheen on the body, this shows it has been replaced and maybe ask the seller about it?

Obv feel out the trany/engine and look for oil leaks.

besides that I cant think of anything.. I just really recommend that you make sure the suspension is not shot.. Trust me its a pain in the ass to replace and will NEVER be fixed

A jeep is about as easy as it gets for something to work on. you can fix 99% of the thing with a hammer, vice grips, and an bottle of dielectric grease.

Things are pretty fucking caveman bud

Im not trolling, but if you think modding a jeeps suspension is hard, than you probably are either doing it wrong, or full blown mechanically declined. It took me less than a half hour to replace my steering stabilizer on my XJ, and I helped install a 3.5 inch lift that took a bit of welding and cutting that took less than 4.
