Title says it all. Brother's Mustang broke down and he lives about 2 hours from me. Going to meet up with him on Saturday to help him change out his alternator and we're going strictly off videos and information we can find online. Thing is since he lives 2 hours away I don't want to lug 3,000lbs worth of tools up to him just to find out I forgot that ONE TOOL that actually matters. So I'm coming here to see if anyone has enough experience working on newer Mustangs to tell me what tools I'd prolly need to finish the job?

This is the main video I've found so far:

Any other information worth noting would be appreciated as well. First time changing an alternator.

Disconnect the battery.

Serptine wrench kit
10-18 mm sockets an rachet
Pry bar or long ass flat head

Those are the tools I would bring if I don't know what is required.

this.

my truck doesnt even need the serpentine belt wrench lol. literally just crank pulley and alternator.

but what charliemurphy said is true, justa few tools. alternators are an easy swap. just a few bolts and some elbow grease
