Got a trailer hitch receiver pin lock that I can't find the key for. It's a basic trailer hitch pin but with a lock. Barbell design on each side with a key hole. I can't really get in there with an angle grinder so I'm thinking sawzall but wondering if anyone has cut some heavy duty metal with it? I know bi metal blades can go through nails easy, but this is some hard steel. I could get a locksmith to take it off I suppose but that would probably be more expensive.

Thoughts?

Don't think I've cut anything that big with a sawzall but the typical Diablo metal blades have always worked wonders for me on everything else.

I got my teeth cleaned last week. Thanks for asking thought.

I have no idea how to pick locks...

Good time to learn!
It's not hard

Especially if you're black

I'd probably have better luck turning a bottle of aerosal upside down, spraying it and then hitting it with a hammer

Heh; mostly just having a chuckle. ;) If I'm lucky, I can pop a five pin padlock in about 15-20 minutes.

If not... a LOT longer.

There a Harbor Freight near you? Could ask, see if they have any recommendations. I've never had to cut through steel, so not sure what I could suggest that would be particularly helpful.
