I have a chance of getting a 2000 ford E150 passenger van for under 1k. Guy said it won't shift out of second Bc the tranny line blew off and he didn't notice it. Worse case Senario I have to put a new tranny in it but kbb says that I should be able to sell it for 2.5k. Is there a possibility that something else happened in the tranny that won't allow it to shift out of second that would be an easy fix and increase the profit? It still drives and everything that's what gets me. I'm thinking like a shift silonoid went or something of that matter

The easiest way to flip a van is to take a hard turn into a curb.

not worth it

thats an e40d tranny and they are expensive to work on/replace
