I am looking at everything from BRZ's (YES!) to another Porsche Cayman S so I can sell my current one that's a little high mileage. M3's, Acuras, Audi, WRX's, etc. Prefer RWD/AWD as I have a daily FWD commuter and winter car.

Show me some things I may have over looked. Not really in to American cars (bring on the hate)

Thanks!

Prob like 50-60k?

Do you want a new car or used is ok? You can settle for a nicer slightly used car or finance the difference on a nice new car also...

I'm looking at 06-12 Porsche Cayman S's. I currently drive an 07 base model. I'd buy new, but I realize I can get a better deal on a low-mileage one owner vehicle. I sourced my mothers Acura TL-SH she bought recently. Was marked $57,000 but we got it for her @ around $39,000 + tax and registration. Was a one owner less than 10k mileage car.

I'm open to all suggestions.

I'd stay away from old cayman S... I'd go for a 2013+ Audi S5 or S4 (b8.5) that are Certified Pre-owned with under 20k miles! That's what I did and man I'm happy with my purchase...I paid $43k for my 2013 S5 with 18k miles 6 months ago and Certified Pre-owned warranty for 6 years / 100k miles came with it. You throw 2k at it, (stage 2 APR + pulley upgrade) and you go from 333 to like 460+hp and 440+ tq. Mine is 6MT also with the sports differential, nav backup camera, BangOwfulsen audio stuff, alcantara leather etc. I considered cayman, 370z Nissan, 335I bmw even e92 M3. But I'm very satisfied with my choice ^.^

I do like the looks of the s5 a lot. I don't know much about audi's, though. We almost bought my mother an A5 or maybe A6, but she decided she liked the Acura's interior better. There's an Audi/Porsche/Bmw/Lexus dealer right by my work. I'll probably stop by.

I'll be buying whatever car I decide upon within the next 6 months as well. Maybe the Focus RS will be out by then? :P I hate Ford's but this little car seems almost too good to be true.

go test drive a new VW golf gti, or if you prefer AWD try an R32

S-Line audis are great too.
