had the car out the tranny shop for about 10 days.

heres the new stuff:

lightened flywheel
mcloed rxt clutch
tick performance master cylinder with speed bleeder
gm performance slave cylinder
had the engine rear main seal changed while flywheel was off
2nd, 3rd, reverse gears
synchro assemblys
3-4 shift fork
brake disc and pads
dead wallet.

did 4 passes at the track sunday.
i managed 12.09 on the first pass, then 12.07 on the second , both spinning the tires on first gear.
best 60' was 1.88 so....
then bottle pressure was low i was running 12.2-4 range racing against a srt8 Cherokee witch almost got me.

overall look

12.07 1/4...

if i dont make a 11.xx pass next time im gonna cry. il have to try and let off the line and only activate nitrous after traction and hope for better 60'.

What are you trapping? That et is high for 440 rwhp on a 1.88 60'. Are you spinning all the way down the track? lol

said hes only spinning 1st imo slap a radial on it and see what happens.

once i buy a rear suspension my car will be taken down to the track to see what it can pull.

Hes running a radial. With just an intake, exhaust cutouts. and shitty hankooks I had mine down to 12.3 at 117 on a 2.0 60'. I'm thinking I should be into deep 11s now, I just haven't been able to get out.

That was on stock clutch and suspension, a bad prep, and hankook v12s. Much more than 2k and it would just hop.

i'm in the same boat atm stock clutch and stock suspension i dont hop i just travel to much and rub.

I'm not anymore, I have a monster level 2 clutch with lightweight flywheel and coilover suspension. I should be able to get pretty aggressive now.

launch it at 6600 and see if it holds fuck it.

how do you like the monster i hear mixed things about it

haha, yeah thats not gonna work on super sports, and I don't feel like dumping money on drag setup right now. The monster has been good, it drives like stock and seems to be holding the power fine.
