So I bought a Honda 2nd car ever (first was a 1.3 Honda Logo not many around in UK but at least it was cheap to insure XD)

Honda service history 2000-2013 yearly then remaining @ bmw
total standard, no rust anywhere really maybe touch on exhaust
cambelt and new exhaust done
Red - so paint fade on bonnet but not too bad, probably a garaged car...
spare alloy not space saver spare

main reason for posting is anything to watch out for from you experienced honda enthusiast?

im not going to modify it but more return it to factory condition (gona get polybushes as they need doing thats first job, probably work on the paint fade after and refurb the factory alloys.

Change the oil often. And your kids will probably drive it.

Oh and timming belt. Not sure on this specific model, but lots of them need it serviced at one time or another. Prevention is key.

yea timing belt / cam belt has been done i think recommend for this model is 96 months or 72k miles and it was done at around 28k, 47k now so should be plenty of time left. might get it redone just to be on safe side in about 3k miles when i have the cash etc as I know if this goes your engine = dead usually...

and its been serviced yearly at honda and bmw so oil has always been done (honda spec oil etc no cheap third party branded crap). I intend to do servicing myself with genuine parts / fluids but might get the first service at honda to get it fully checked out as I know my local garage is good
