I checked out and put a down payment on a car in Massachusetts the other day. Currently, I live in CT. the car is being financed, so I don't have the title in hand. How would I be able to get the Car to CT or Register it to get temp tags so that I can bring it to the CT DMV to put it through emissions and register it? btw, MA DOES NOT Issue temp tags, it's illegal.

All you need is a bill of sale I'm pretty sure.. Just go to your MVA or DMV and ask them what documents they need.. Probably a bill of sale or a copy of the title from the lien holder

Even more so, if you're at a dealership that doesnt know this kind of shit, take your money and run... Run fast.
