A scat pack is like a $7k jump in msrp (dont quote me on that but its somewhere around there)

A 6.4 stroker kit for the 5.7 is $3,200 ish and will make more power then a factory 6.4. Stroker kit will make about 500-525hp/tq

And, it doesnt void warranty as long as a mopar tech installs the kit..

Now seems how i have an r/t plus, which is a fully loaded model, plus i got the super track pack on top of that, there isnt anything different that the scat pack gets that i wont have really. Except that when i do the stroker ill have more hp for about 4-5k less..

So, tell me again why the 392 is better? lol.

5.7L to 6.4L strokers make about 440 to the wheels with heads, cam, intake, exhaust, and supporting software. the KIT might be 3200 or w/e the fuck you said but the labor will also be 3200 if not more to gut the motor down to a bare block.



P.S. The jump in MSRP from RT Plus to Scat Pack is 4100 bucks. LMK if you find AND HAVE INSTALLED a stroker kit for your ride for less than 4100 bucks :rofl:

Now, onto the HP issue. The "Kit" you probably got those numbers from is Arrington. In which you can buy for 3200 bucks does not come with heads, a cam, or anything other than a crank, pistons, rods and bolting hardware. But hey, they do sell a heads/cam package for another 3,000 bucks. That's still under 4100 right?

Even if it is less. It's more than the 900 dollar difference you could have paid to buy a factory 392.

But, go quote it. I'd be interested to see how much lower you can get it from a dealership. The fact you'd even mention putting your brand new car in the hands of an over payed oil changer to do a stroker build on your car is laughable. Even if it is under warranty, it'll be in the shop more than in your possession.
