That mcleod should not go to the track. It will fail prematurely if you do. If it is still new in box, return it and get a monster LT1-S twin. 700wtq rated with a warranty.

Secondly, if my parts were piled up like that i'd be through the roof.

Third, the hard part shortage is normal. Make sure they don't source chinese re-pop shit. It needs to come from liberty, us-gear, rockland, etc. This is the downside to having a non-specialist rebuild your T56.

That's what I was thinking too, I wouldn't be too impressed seeing my parts thrown in a big pile like that.

hmmmm dont scare me like that. why is it i read good reviews on the mcloed? i dont want to be getting the car ripped appart again next year because the discs are worn.

the parts did suprise me at first but where are you gonna put them? the exhaust is in a bin, the subframe and torq tube are on the ground and the tires are leaning on them. all the bolts are in a box right next to the stuff so you dont lose anything.

Im not worried about the gear quality they seem picky about it because they're giving a warranty on the tranny and know about my dyno results. And they seen the current state of the tranny with stock hp

Hp should have nothing to do with the condition of your trans. The wear parts are worn by mileage or incorrect shifting. The non wear parts like gears should only see damage with huge power or really bad mis shifting. Why do they say they need to replace 2nd and 3rd gear? Did you keep driving it long after the synchros were shot? What wear parts are they putting back in it?

That clutch drives nice and Mcleod puts a really high hp rating on it. In practical use it really does not stand up to drag strip abuse. People smoke them with modest power. The RXT holds up a lot better but still fails well below Mcleod's rating. It seems like you still have time to return it and get a good one if they are waiting on trans parts.

If my shit was in piled up like that and I found out, it would be on a flat bed being brought somewhere else instantly

Fuck those guys

I build dirt race cars that get beat to shit and I wouldn't treat any ones stuff like that.

Also bolts in a box? All that shit should be cleaned and bagged and tagged.
