Would like too hear some stories. Weather it be crashes, bad deals, remorse buying, if it was unlucky or just not cool. Tell us about it.

pretty much this. I thought it was bad spending 300k to build the truck.... its more expensive to keep the damn things running.

I've actually had some luck with my racing Suzuki Swift GTi, bought the thing with 0 spare parts and managed to finish 3 rallies, with one podium finish.

On the other hand I've bought the only Subaru Forester in my country which was messed up... Had ej22 engine while the ecu, fuel pump and everything else was from the original ej20. In one year time I had to repair the engine head, replace 9 valves, change 2 wheel bearings and all stuff on the suspension made of rubber, steering rack, speedo, gear shift spring (stick didn't return to the middle when not in gear), had to repair the LPG system which was the pain in the ass 'cos of the poorly done ej22 swap. I'm sure there's more but just can't remember atm. However I did fucking enjoy every second driving it and never did it let me down on the road.
Driving in low range through the forest with sun roof open searching for mushrooms is something I wanna do again!

my mistake

Mistake 1. Bought SRT4
Mistake 2. Blew transmission
Mistake 3. Replaced said transmission with Racewerks trans
Mistake 4. Blew turbo
Mistake 5. Repaired said turbo
Mistake 6. Fried ECU
Mistake 7. Replaced with stage 2 OEM ECU
Mistake 8. Blew rings
Corrective measures 1. Took negative equity into a 2014 honda CRV

tl;dr

Fuck dodge

Bent my front axle in my Cummins. Had to find a used straight housing and got an axle truss on it now.
