Hello guys,

Need your input to help me make the right choice as for which tire to buy for this summer.

Car is a 2010 WRX, use it as a DD, no tracking...225/45/r17

remember I'm from Canada

Tires of interest ( price is final, with install)

Cooper Zeon RS3-A, 700$

Hankook v12, 725$ (add a 80$ mail in rebate)

Bridgestone RE760, 710$

Michelin Pilot sport A/S , 720$

Continental extremecontact DW, 830$

Let me know if you have any experience with these, and share if you want to suggest another model.

thanks!

Hankook v12 Great summer tires. Just make sure if you get these they but them on right : they are directional tires.

Look awesome too then clean! ;)

To add: not sure what model they were but my brother had Hankook all-seasonals on his Subaru forester and they were by far the best year-around tires he's ever had. His friggin' car loves snow/ice and those tires only helped.

The Hankook's not only are great in the dry you'll be impressed how good of traction they have in the rain too.

Maybe search some Subaru specific forums? I just know my brother really liked the brand on his Subaru. ;)

GL in your tire choice!

Look here https://www.pmctire.com/en/

Out of those tires I'd grab the V12s. I just put Pilot Super Sports on my z06 and they seem to be working quite well even with our shitty weather right now.

ok thanks,

threadwear is important in my choice, are v12 durable? at least compared to other tires with same performance/price?

im using this website atm, prices seem pretty competitive!

I had V12s on my old set of CCWs. I drove them hard and they really didn't hook that well so I blew the rears off them relatively quickly, but the fronts were still pretty well brand new. You probably wouldn't have that issue with a WRX, and I'd imagine without the power I had and how I drove on them they'd last.
