Yesterday car seemed fine, go for a drive this morning

i have a 2006 pontiac pursuit G5 (standard)

When accelerating it feels like the gears are slipping a little bit.. It will vibrate a little bit and the RPM's will go up/down a bit even though I'll keep my foot at the exact same position on the gas pedal.

I'm thinking it's a belt but not sure which or if its even a belt??

anyone got ideas

more then likely you need to clean your throttle body if not kept clean they cause bogging and rpm issues

Not the belt. Tthese cars are electric everything, throttle, power steering etc.

Vacume leak?

Go to cobaltss.net for your problems. Some really good guys around there know these cars inside and out

It's just a plug on the side if the tranny. No dip stick. Kind of a pita
