Because I payed 1500 dollars for this damn car. If I can buy eBay stainless headers for 89.00$ and it works the same ima do it... I got a 1jz build id rather put money into.
If this car gets me to work for the next 45k miles I'm happy.
You have a 1jz you'd rather put money into? The 1jz motor sucked.
Anyways, sorry for trolling. You can probably find a nice OE replacement on ebay that meet around the same specs for the same price.. You don't want to buy shitty stainless random make headers off ebay, ask me why... I bought some for my ranger "almost impossible to find aftermarket headers for the 4cyl in a ranger", and I had to machine the shit out of them before they fit right... Bad part was I had the install done when I noticed a nice breeze coming from my manifold.
Spend a little more, that 1500 bucks is a great investment, that car will run 300-400k miles with no SERIOUS problems if you take proper care of it..
tl;dr: Ebay headers can end up costing you more than you think.
