Really? My favorite backhoe was always the 430F. That thing was solid, and I'd run a load of soil in that bucket with it all the way up and it would barely rock, lol.

Never used any other cat products though, I've heard their trenchers suck balls.

Komatsu and Volvo would be higher up the list for me.

Best Excavator I've ever operated was a Komatsu, those things are little monsters.. And sensitive as fuck, I managed to avoid busting a 3/4 pvc feeder pipe underground when I threw it on turtle...

I was thinking bigger stuff. Takeuchi makes the best minis for the money. One of my friends is a Komatsu tech at their plant in Augusta. He gets unreal training and from what i've seen the equipment is engineered to work reliably and be worked on. It's very japanese as opposed to others that feel German.
