Apparently not enough to crank it.

Take the battery out of it, and go get it tested. It probably needs a quick charge..

Well, the fact of the matter is.. You ALWAYS start cheapest, its free to diagnose a battery, you take it in and they test it... If its bad, you replace it, if its good than its another issue... Sure, it could be a lot of shit, like a blown cylinder or a EFI issue, but always start cheapest.. Its chicago, so its cold, its VERY cold that day, and now your car doesn't start. Just use common sense to decipher whats going on.

^-^, let us know.. If you can't, than invest 20 bucks on a cheap compression tester and do a test on each cylinder.. That would be the next cheapest thing.

i have my work truck and the space next to it was open. i let the cables sit and cranked it. same result. since its warm outside i got to crawling around underneath and stuff and smelled what i could and notices some fresh juice that might not be melted snow. seems i have a new oil leak. if you throw out the who very cold weather thing, do these sound like the symptoms of a car with no oil in it?

/e

also heard that the head gaskets and trannys on the 4.0L are the first thing to go...
