So I have a 94 s10 4.3 vortec, and I noticed a few weeks back I have no air being blown through my vents. It kind of sounds like there's air, but I don't feel hardly anything, even at high speed, on any setting, hitting my hand.

Are there common causes for this? Ive never worked on heater cores or blower motors, so i wouldnt know what to check for.

Well, the weird thing is the vent on top of the dash works and blows hot air, but the vents on the side aren't blowing anything

It sounds like your vacuum operated mode doors have failed. It could be as simple as a vacuum leak. Does the blend door still work? Try turning it on and switching from hot, to cold, back to hot.

Had this happen on my Dakota. Its a failure of the vacuum operated doors, the defrostkeeps working as it is vital for you being able to drive when its cold out so they default it to that.
