Been looking at IMPALAS for quiet some time now.
I've had a impala SS 04 before and I loved it, had to get rid of it. Got another car now I blew the motor on that one..
So now I'm desperately in need of a car.
So for those who know about this car wether it's worth it or not.
Not your own personal opinion on wether you're into them or not.

I like Impalas, I bought my wife a 2011 LT, I wish I would have bought her the SS though..the extra HP woulda been fun. :)

Hers is approaching 90k miles, no major repairs done yet.
I think all we did was brakes, tires, fluids so far lol..

Yesterday I was driving on the highway with it and was getting over 30mpg easily believe it or not. Used the instant economy and trip my average was a lot higher then its rated at.

/Only thing I don't like about the car is backing it up, it's hard to see out the back imo..plus it has a middle headrest which blocks view more.

I absolutely never look out my back window when backing up. Always use my mirrors. Mainly cuz 0% tint in the back + neck/back/spine probs.

But yea, mirrors are there for a reason. Back up cameras are pretty tit too.

Yeah I mean I do fine I just like being able to look out the back over my shoulder.
For instance backing up to the poles at the parking spaces where we work you can't see them and you can't see them in side mirrors.

It's not a big deal though obviously. I say get the Impala OP :)

I'm looking at used cars, I'm on a budget and the SS is not cheap lol.
