Just thought I'd share. First time buying from a dealership. I thought a did a good job with my pick and price.

I got a 2013 Corolla S with a standard trans :0
23k miles. Cars perfect :).
I got the car for 14K before tax and registration.
Pretty happy with it. I was so done with my Audi Pos.. Now to sell it off. Anyways what do you guys think? I wasn't wanting a race car or a fast vehicle. I was wanting reliable transportation so I can visit back home here and there
Which is 1000 miles away.

You certainly accomplished that one. Car will probably last a very long time. Looks pretty clean too, grats on the new ride.

A rental company was the first owner and it's probably been ran hard.

My guess.

I got a carfax on it. It said 1 previous owner. And I don't think rental company's lend out manual transmission cars :/

I think so! I was kinda wanting the 6speed. But the price I'd pay, and the chance of actually finding one.. Not good.

I searched with in a 200 miles radius and there was only 2 I could find that had standard trans. And craigslist is hardly used here for some reason. And thank you sir!

Nice pickup man, I snagged a civic Si the same way. Got a '13 model for 16 with 40k miles on it. Was a managers car, and was basically brand new inside and out. Kept it very clean and even had every single maintenance receipt.

Certified used Hondas are a god send.
Only sat on the lot for a day or so before my buddy who works there called me about it

Thanks!
And nice! I heard really good things about the civics. A civic was actually a possible option for me when I was looking around at rigs.

Yeah they said they had the Corolla for about a month. I guess no one would look at it because its manual lol. Everyone wants automatic.

Yeah I think you lucked out!

Most people don't want Sticks for their everyday driver. Unless it has paddle shifters. One of the managers at my store has a challenger hellcat and he loves those paddles.
