Hey guys I have a 66 mustang project car I've been working on as a daily driver.

Has been ridiculously hard to start, fixed a problem with fuel getting to carb (accelerator pump was malfunctioning) now the mechanical fuel pump is not working correctly and intermittently works.

So How hard is it to install an electric fuel pump and is it worth it to go with this over a mechanical for the ease since I am in school and If i don't drive the car it sits a week before i drive it again.

Tired of having to pump 60 x for it to start before and seems like this could be a nice convenient way to fix it.

Thoughts?

This.. It's a pain in the ass, and dangerous to install an electric pump on an old set up.. Just buy a new mechanical pump, and the issue is gone.
