If I don't find an aftermarket set of rims/tires relatively soon I'm going to have to put new tires on the Vette. I need 4x 295/35/18s that will perform relatively well with a decent tread life. I was looking at Pilot Super Sports but I'm not sure if that's the direction I really want to go.

Meh. I don't think the pilots are worth the money. I'll post some options after I get to work.

Ive always had the best luck with gforce sport comp 2's and rival's

wasnt impressed with pzeros at all really.

edit - i guess it really depends what your daily is haha..my year round daily is my '14 hemi challenger 6 speed..so yeah..its my summer cruising car and winter beater rofl.

Im liking my hankook tires in winter, they grippy as fuck actually and being in wisconsin, lots of snow and ice. They are ventus ST06's i think, 275/40r20

edit 2 - i looked, they are ST-RH06's, and in summer/well fall when i put them on, they had better traction then the firehawk tires that were on it stock

Advan neova ad08r's. If I recall correctly, they don't make 295/35 but they do make 295/30s.

Good tires.

I don't really either but they're a good tire with real tread life. I get them at dealer cost so its not quite as bad, but its still not much different than US tirerack pricing lol.

pilot super sports are your best bet. They're fairly cheap and they last a while, with decent grip.

Honestly i think it's hard to beat the performance/value ratio of plain old Nitto 555's if you are buying a hard tire for the street. I don't know what canadian prices are but the NT05 is a softer tire available in that size at $248/ea. C6 Z guys love them. You are going to want something softer than pilots after the cam. Treadwear... you just deal with.

I ran 555s on the evo, I wasn't a huge fan. The vette has nt555rs on back right now which are actually great, I just don't want to put a new set on twice a year lol. I was looking an invos too, as well as hankook rs3s. Fuck, I've even considered going back to the V12s I had on the ccws.

The invos last longer but i've heard of some issues with high speed stability. You won't be happy with anything harder than a 555 on the back after the cam i promise. The ones i traded my friend were useless in first on my T/A which makes a little less power than you will cam only. They were sticky enough to twist my buddies drive shaft in half at the track last weekend.
