My school is about 20-30 min away and it's all highway.
I usually cruise 10 over and was considering a radar detector for a form of self assurance.

Was looking at a Passport 8500 x50 for $150 (used)
or
Electronics RX65 $115 ( new)

Anyone have experience with Radar Detectors and care to recommend one for >$150

Could buy headers with that

if you are only going 10 over on the highway you don't have much to worry about.

Or you could just leave the house 1 minute sooner and do the speed limit...

I don't get what's with needing a radar if ur school is that close.

Plus there's no need to go even 10 over. What do you gain by getting to ur location maybe 45 seconds earlier?

10 over is roughly 10 minutes an hr. If your going 20 mins to school you save two mins. Just leave two mins earlier ?

You said anything over $150. RL100 is over $150.

Sometimes that 2 minute difference is the difference between being on time and being late.

Back at DHHS if you were 1 minute late you'd get written up.
