not in my area, shitty season always starts at the beginning of the year.
it's uncommon to get early season snow because i live on a peninsula landbase

Instead of dumping more money in this bug, shoot it my way so I can get my up pipe and 44mm EWG

I used a lot of cheap factory parts (vr6 struts, wagon shocks,,jetta higher rate springs, etc) the only thing that cost any real money was the spacer kit (35mm front, 25mm rear) and tires that I found for a steal @ 150 the set (less than 2k miles driven)

Little over 350$ total and I had a practically new suspension and tires.

Congrats! Always nice when you're doing a DIY project if you can get away with it being light on the wallet.
