my vehicles recommended stats are 215/60R/16 94V

the tires I found are 215/60R/16 99R

the only difference then i think is the tires are rated for MORE weight which isnt bad, but only rated for 170kms vs 240kms for speed correct?

If so i shouldnt have an issue as id never drive that fast...much less on winter tires....

am i correct in this thinking?

I don't know anything about buying tires and can't afford to make a costly mistake .

Thanks for your understanding

Literally your best bet is to go out and buy BF Goodrich ATs, they're hands down the best tires you can possibly buy for any application in an suv. If you want all seasons, go buy Continental EC DWS..

Both moderately expensive, but both are great tires.. I have Goodrich ATs on my jeep, and I rarely lose traction in the snow, and I regularly drive it on the beach.

We are just messin' with cha dude. How much noticeable difference you'll have in snow tires probably depends what type of snow/ice conditions you have! Practically any snow/ice tire will be better than your summer (all condition) tires. Can be a huuuuge price differences in snow/ice tires!

*Google is amazing- "snow tires review" or something similar will provide a lot of information.
