What do you guys think of this?

Could there be any dangers with installing one of these?

It only works for untuned cars and stock intakes, I believe.

how long will it take with one of these to save $40 in gas?

.01-2mpg under great conditions

A small hp /torque increase for $40 is tempting though.

This is assuming it's safe, and lasts.

A stock 2014 sti banged out 22hp/18torque, not to the wheels.

even if thats true, thats not even noticeable, only half of that hits the wheels.

well, it all adds up.

Under perfect conditions, I could net 5% more hp from drop in filter + ecoblock.....In theory, that is.

5% gain for $80 isn't terrible.

I'm grabbing a Perrin Catback in march. Down the road a header and a tune. I just don't plan on spending the money on FI.




I know the whole ecoblock thing is sketchy. It just came out the other week, but apparently has been tested by Crawford for years.

didnt you say it only works on untuned cars, if you plan on getting a tune why would you buy it?

Tune and header would be after my warranty is expired, which won' be for another two years.

this product can be uninstalled as easy as it's installed.

$40 on a product ill use for two years isn't money wasted in my opinion.


With the product being so new, there really hasn't been much feedback from other brz members, One "feels small mid level power gain, no mpg gain while having it installed for two weeks.
