Lol so drove the piss out of it with low oil, resulting in oil starvation under corner load. Car throws a CEL and he clears it out himself and then expects the dealer to fix his dumbassness? This shit is gold xD

if you're going to be doing all the routine maintenance on a new car, save the receipts and document your work.
using cash to pay for his oil/filters is in no way an excuse for him to not keep records of the purchases. and a credit card statement does not itemize what he bought, only when and where.

that being said, i miss my free oil changes.

Good example of how not to make purchases. I would not purchase a vehicle that expensive financing and leave myself no cash behind for the invetiable " when shit happens ". Not just being his car, other things in life could happen.

yeah you never know when the motor might break on its own without being ran hard. one of our new freightliners threw a rod through the side of the block with less than 20k miles on a brand new cummins engine. sometimes shit happens although this douche shouldve kept an eye on oil level and kept it filled up. i wonder why it was 1.5 quarts low anyway with that low mileage on it. maybe he wasnt changing the oil as regularly as claimed and was trying to pull some kind of warranty fraud and burned himself who knows.

Driving like paul walker increases oil consumption via PCV and ring seal (higher avg rpm.)

It could've been burning oil too. 1.5q's is a lot to lose in less than 3k miles. When I was boosted I was driving hard as shit and only lost 1 quart per change before realizing, and that was tuned etc.

Where do you think oil that gets burned comes from?
