So my heater / ac work fine.. besides the fact that it only blows out of the front vent.. no matter where I set it to it comes out on my face. I checked behind all of the knobs and they are electronic and nothing is broken right there.. any idea what else it could be? (2007 Ford focus)

The module, if there's not a cable running from behind the knob

I will check that when the car gets home.. and as for the cables behind.. I checked everything behind it...


Basically what happened when it broke/stopped working was when I was changing it from vent to defrost and it was hard to turn then just kinda popped and went.. ever since then it only blows out on my face and the knob is easy to turn (still has the clicking sounds when changing because the little gear is still intact and working)

Just because the gear is still working doesn't mean it's still functioning lol. Go to your local junkyard and grab a new climate control

Check if you have Blend Door Actuators, they could be defective.
