So, as of today, I am deciding to sell my Audi. I was curious what would you price my Audi A4? I'll paste the description I used in the Facebook shop and swap page where I'm at. (People don't use craigslist here)

----------

1996 Audi a4 Quattro(AWD) 2.8 V6 for sale. Has 135xxx miles.5 speed Automatic. Sunroof/moon roof combo. New battery, all season tires. Black leather interior with 1 Rip in drivers seat. Drives nice. Plenty of power. Has heated seats, but the drivers does not work! Pretty sure its fuse related.
The power steering is starting to make some noise. Replaced it about 2k miles ago. It might of just been a faulty pump. Not sure if it needs replaced or not. Brakes are good. But ABS light is on (sensors need cleaned) It was towed behind an RV most of its life, but, due to that, the front end has rock chips. Has rebuilt title, believe it was due to the Factory Audi stereo being stolen, I put another one in from another Audi, but it needs the code, this car comes factory with a 5 disc CD changer in the trunk, and Bose surround system from factory. Front bumper needs replaced, but holds just fine (recent snow bank insident) This car does seat 4 confrontable. Has a ton of trunk space.
Always kept up on maintenance, The Audi Manual says to do oil changes every 10k miles, but I always did them at 4-5k miles. Always ran K&N oil filters, I had the power steering pump, thermostat, serpentine belt, timing belt, water pump, spark plugs all done in the past 3000 miles, as well as fresh oil change.

I was intending on fixing it up and doing some neat after market goodies on it down the road. But plans changed. I've put 15k miles on it since I owned it.

But yeah, make me a reasonable offer. I don't NEED to sell it. But it would help.
Serious inquiries only. Don't "beat around the bush". Do not waste my time.

Some future buyers will be scared off by the rebuilt title. But, given the age it has low miles. That's a plus.

I don't see much more than 2,000 for this. It's probably worth more to keep it.

I'd probably take the bit about towing this AWD car behind an RV out of the ad though. Hopefully it was on a trailer.

this

You're probably better off keeping it as a DD and milk it until it dies.

I wouldn't buy it.. abs light, power steering issues, body beat to hell, almost 150k on the tranny, etc. Drive that car till it blows, because you won't get shit for it.. maybe 1500 bucks, and that's being liberal.

1500 if you're lucky to find someone looking for a winter beater.

I understand that. And, I do want to fix it up and maybe sell it down the road, but, the rebuilt title repels me from doing any further work. I feel like I'd be putting in thousands of dollars just to make it worth a little more.. Maybe I'll hang onto it and just drive it till it quits. If it was a 5speed Manual I'd be removing the front axels and making a little drift slut. Has almost 200hp. and the motor is extermly healthy. Always starts up. Purrs.

The issue is, you could put 3000 bucks into it, but it won't be worth 3000 bucks. I would drive her till she croaks.. just continue preventive maintenance and enjoy her.
