Old thread got closed because I was gone for like, three months, lol

Anyway, picked up a G35 6 speed with 45,000 km on it. Sending out the bellhousing for machining this weekend.
Won't have to worry about shearing third gear like I would in SR trannies :)

Old chassis. 250ish at the wheels, never dyno'd. Chassis became compromised.

New chassis (red one, obviously), 64,000km. Decided to build a higher HP car since I now had a proper platform to build upon.

As it sits now. It's worth noting that there are people making ~800 with a similar set up to mine (SR22VET with PTE6266 BB) on E85.

CRV

I drove the 240 for 2 winters, a suzuki esteem the year after that, an elantra gt after that, crv after that, and now I'm driving my rx7

Which is really fucking stupid because the chassis is stupid clean, but I set aside a budget for a winter beater and I just so happened to find this gem of an rx7

FCs really aren't worth much either way, I wouldn't be too worried. Cold starts might be shitty though, rotaries don't really like cold.

Yeah they're not expensive, but the best thing about it is that it's exempt from emissions so I can put whatever engine I want in this thing without worrying about anything.
and the chassis will without a doubt take it like a champ.

As for cold starts, it's been doing fine so far. Pretty confident it'll make it through winter no problem.

Speaking of emissions exempt cars, you ever seen this car?

auto sr5 but if the paint is actually any good and there isn't any bondo/holes like the ad said it could be interesting.
