Specifically, as rims for your track car. I know a lot of people warn against Rotas, because of the manufacturing process, but I can't remember what that process is.

Conversely, what would be the type of rim you *would* want for a track car?

Its hit or miss. They're still cast wheels, you get what you pay for.. I'd stick to the high volume models like the grids. They're obviously not going to be as strong/light as volks or whatever else but they're not going to just shatter either.

If you have life insurance an 80 dollar rim is fine, especially when kids stretch a 165 on a 8 inch wide rim.

If you have half a brain, the price of rotas alone should tell you to stay away from them. Good wheels are not cheap, cheap wheels are not good.
