Guy I work with informed me his girlfriend is selling her 35th anniv 2002 z28. She is the only owner since 2002, she was originally asking 3500, I got it down to 2000 before even seeing the car. Can most likely talk it down even more potentially to 1000-1500 I am thinking. Seeing it weds.

She bought it new in 2002 and is the only owner, I only spoke with her a minute. Got most of the information from her boyfriend who I work with. And saw the pictures he took, it's a silver z28 the pics I saw the body looks to be in fine condition just needs minor body work. He didn't snap any engine or interior pics. Car has been sitting so currently does not start he says, didn't mention any other problems. If I can get the car started with a jump and it drives ok, it's a great deal no?

Even if it's not a car I can turn into a project if the motor runs, that alone should be worth the price I buy it for? I had original plans on doing an LSx swapped import of some sort, so worst case if I can't flip, fix, or make the camaro the project I can pull the motor for my project...

So how bad would this thing have to be to not be worth at most 2 grand?

Look for the dash pad to be cracked and window motors to be worn out. If it was running when parked it doesn't take much to get an ls1 going again.

well fuck she sold the car before I could come see it, that sucks. Has money and was getting ready to drive to work and get the dude to take me to it.

There are a few others on craigslist for around ~3000 So guess maybe there is another good deal out there, it's just that this was a 1 owner car, and probably would have been a nice car to work with
