Alright so i finally got my new Led tail lights

Set them both up fine but i noticed the right tail light was brighter than the left one. I said fuck it ill figure it out when i get home
As i drove home, my gf who was behind me noticed that it switched sides.
Now that left side is brighter than the right?

Any idea whats going on? All the connections seem fine

Sounds like a grounding issue?

Time for process of elimination I guess.

Aftermarket leds? If they don't have eternal resistors you may need to add some

Ive been messing with it, now the right one works at idle but doesnt light up when i press the brakes.

Im gonna completely redo them tomorrow and see if i cant figure it out. Ive got about a half hour to mess with it before i gotta go to indy for dinner. Good thing were not taking my car.

Talk about frustrating

I'm 99% sure i figured it out.
One of the connectors ended up being slightly off, couldnt tell without completely pulling it out again.
Brightness looks about the same but wont be able to tell 100% til night time , but at least both brake lights are working again.
