Looking at this preowned 2011 gti 2 door with 35k miles. They want 20k for it but I feel like that's a little much. Haven't haggled on a newer car like this before I've only paid cash for way cheaper cars. Need help on price. Thanks bros :)

Msrp for a new one, at base price is 25,095.

I would go in at $17,000 and settle at $18,000.

What he said... I myself got a GTI, bought a brand new fully loaded 13' in February...So 18-20k is quite fair. Also depends if it has nav/sunroof/Xenob lights etc.. if it does, its worth it.

Nav is a tough to find but well worth it if you can find it. It's a much more expensive radio.

If you're spending 17-20K anyway, why not spend the extra money and by a 2015 GTI? it's not that much more on monthly payments if you're going that route, you'd also get a better interest rate. If paying cash I can see your reasons but with the lowered interest rate on new cars monthly payments would be pretty close. And the 2015 GTI is an awesome car. Really, really amazing. Audi quality interior (only the leather is sub-Audi quality) and one of the best driving cars, some would argue the best, driving car under $30K USD MSRP. Two door 2015's are coming soon too.
