During WOT and partial throttle I am getting knock retard up to 1.3-1.5

So far I have had 60-80% of my engin*** out and back together twice. All of the things are in the proper place and all of the connections are tight. I thoroughly cleaned the mad center. My peak boost is hitting 19 flat with no issues. The only things I have left to try is to upgrade to colder plugs, and try a different fuel. I always use sonoco, but I was far away from one and filled up with shell a while back.

I also tried changing tunes. My proffesional tune is in the works, but I don't think it is the tune I am on.

Does anyone have any other ideas as to where the knock retard is coming from? I looked at my datalogs and it is not a mechanical knock.

Stay under 2 degrees and you're fine.

Heat soak issues?

No heatsoak at all. 55 degrees out during logs.

I don't think I should be getting that much knock though :(

Did it start out of the blue or did you make a change? Is it burst knock? 1 step colder plug may help or you could pull 1 degree of timing under load in the cells you are seeing knock in.

Most tuners would let 1-2 degrees of KR ride. Those $100 honda tunes sure would.

I'm just saying get a tune that matches your setup. Don't download a map that the Internet says will work.

If it has 1.2 degrees of knock retard it is really close to perfect. Anything under 4 is considered safe. Some people like myself will tweak it until 0.

You are talking about the ignition timing being off 1/360th of a crankshaft rotation.

It seems like it started out of the blue. I wasn't monitoring it for a while because I was having no issues.

If you read the post, my actual tune is in the works... I am on an ots map that came with the ap, which are relatively conservative.
