I am trying to jack up the rear of my 2003 lancer es. I know where the factory jack points are but im using a flat jack stand so i dont want to crush the steel lip that a "v" jackstand would go around. what would be the best alternative? also, id like to get both the tires off the ground at the same time if possible, ty.

would it be a bad idea to use the uni body frame rails where they meet in the rear so its on a reenforced point? thats what i used for the front im just tryin to get both tires in the air at the same time if possible

Floor pans

Gas tank

or sway bars if available.

EDIT: in seriousness, there should be a pinch weld at the rear dogleg in most unibodies.

Do NOT use the frame rails, the front crossmember is a solid choice for the front.
