I'm Ready to get a remote starter for my brz limited.

I've read that a lot of people recommend compustar and viper.

I don't think I need any secruity features, I just want:

Remote start
Reliability
Durability
Decently high ft range
Sleek
Possibly water resistant

Any recommendations? I looked on the website of a local installer but they only have like 8 listed between the two brands.

It came with keyless entry, push button start, lock/unlock/siren and possibly some form of an alarm that the dealer might have to program.

But no remote start :(

I would advise against it... You will have to bypass your clutch sensor, and all it takes is one dumbass friend to leave it in gear and you trying to start it before something bad happens... This is why factory automatics usually get this option only.

I don't need to explain why so let's just keep it relevant to the remote starter.

There is no humor...

Onstar is not an option and is not worth considering.
