Over the next few months im looking to pick something new up, got between 15-20k to spend.

Going to be a daily driver
Would like something with some getup
Aside from that i really have no preferences. Just needs to be something that i dont have to worry about breaking down every 10k miles.

When I was looking to replace my civic DD, I tried the dart, newer civics, and a fiat 500. Ended up with the fiat 500 sport. The ride is really nice, decently peppy for traffic management, was the cheapest out of my choices. Plus I get 40-45 mpg with ac on and 45-50 with it off.

The Fiat's are great little cars. Good manufacturer too. I wanna Abarth.

15-20k range... Slightly used mk6 GTI is the perfect DD and has plenty of getup..while handling awesome, even as stock.. has independent rear suspension, makes 216hp/222tq dyno'd.. more than what VW claims. I drive a 13' GTI...beyond stock now.. but stock is even a blast to drive.

If you want some giddy up for an affordable price I'd go with a Subaru WRX (this is also assuming you prefer awd, since 'winter is coming'), or if you want a bit of luxury at a hefty maintenance price, you could get an Audi A4. Both lovely cars B)

Good options for you.
Mid mileage gti
Newish low mileage fiat abart
2008+ maxima or altima
V6 camaro 2011+
Mazdaspeed3 3 2010-2012 are in the price range. Lowish mileage
2010-2012 2.5L Mazda 3

The ones above are generally reliable also as long as they are taken care of, as if any car.
