70k is quite a bit on pads. i usually replace mine every 30k if they havnt worn out by then already

get a set of thermo quiets' from wagner, or akebono's

i personally use akebono's and i love them. My old man uses thermo quiets on his big ass cummins ram pulling excavators on his flatbed and hes never had an issue.

Thanks. I forgot to mention in my first post... "What breaks should I go for, the $30-$40 sets or the more expensive ones." Rather than what to look for when wanting to change/check.

Everything they sell at autozone is crap. The good, better, and best option will all squeak. Get on Rockauto.com and pick up pads in the price range you can stomach.

I'm rockin StopTech Drilled+Slotted rotors and Hawk HPS on my car soon. Car just hit 10k miles but stock brakes suck, so I'm upgrading. Just need to install em

Rotors won't really be necessary unless you run a 2 piece disk, a more aggressive pad and ss lines are all you need.

You must drive a lot of highway or around town really really slow with out many stops. At 70k and have not replaced your pads is pretty damn good. You're probably due and don't even know it.

You can replace pads and rotors for practically nothing nowadays. As for the back drums, I'm cheap and usually let them go longer than front rotors and pads.
