unless this is gonna be its own car i find it hard to believe that they just spent who knows how many millions retooling the corvette factory to have a 2 year run on a body style. unless the retooling includes everything they need to switch over to a mid engine car. thats just a huge swing if its gonna take much changing of equipment and reteaching their employees how to build this radical (for a big 3 automaker) new car.

oh didnt read his link. ive seen articles about it before but never mentioned if it would replace the c7 or what. guess ill read this article and see what new info there is lol

Hasn't nearly every new corvette release supposedly supposed to feature a "mid engine"??? I'll believe it when I see it

The rumors get stronger and stronger with each generation though. From what i hear they very nearly did it with the C7.

well corvette has been ripping of styling cues from the viper since the viper came out.

ferrari is owned by fiat/chrysler group, so it wouldnt suprise me if gm is ripping off stuff again.
