was just gonna post this as i just seen the livestream lol

as to your comment about it being hyped up and for charity,, you have to remember, mopar isnt a dime-a-dozen manufacturer like gm and ford so its gonna bring a lot.. like that barracuda that sold a few weeks ago for 3.5 million.. wont ever see a mustang or camaro go for that.

I'm still a firm believer that auctions all come down to who's bidding. That 3.5 million dollar baracuda could have went for less than 1 million if a few select people weren't involved.

yeah usually Ford and GM do the same thing for their first production. I'm glad its at least going to charity... because some people spend crazy amounts of money on the first productions

yes that would hold true if it was some countryside auto or state auction, but its barrett jackson. Those "few select" people are always at the auction, and if not in person, on the phone bidding.

but yeah, if they store the car, drive it around the block once a week to keep it rolling for the next 30-40 years, im sure they will get back 3-4x their purchase price if they decide to sell it then.. thats what i would do lol.

I'm sure they wont drive it... They have enough moldy old money to buy another one to drive.

well it isnt good to let it sit.. i put barely 3-400 miles a year on my spirit r/t but i still fire it up once a week and let it run for 5 minutes and drive it around the block (country block).. and if its snowing and shit, i just drive a few laps around inside the machine shed lol.. just to keep things moving.
