So, i just read a car and driver article stating the hellcat got an epa rating of 22mpg with 8 speed auto and 21mpg with 6speed manual.

And, they said they had the car at 825hp at the factory and that the 707hp rating is very conservative and no one really knows where that number came from because they had it over 800 at the factory.

My guess, is that the number sounded good and it gave them 100+hp of room to work with in case gm or ford came out with something with more power; they could then say, "oh, we got 825hp lol@u"

eitherway, cant really say whats what till they start getting delivered and see independent dyno's being done.

Umm, you do realize Ford has had an 850 HP mustang out for over a year now, right?
Dodge is just as late at 825 HP as the were at 707.
