looks like ill be pulling off my valve cover on the jeep tomorrow. the lifter tick seems to have gotten worse. it almost sounds like its knocking now. going to try and half ass find the loose one and lash it somewhat decent after work tomorrow.. just hope its not anything serious


anyone have any tips for this? ive never tried to reset a valve lash on a rocker before

i think ill pull the oil pan off and check for metal for a piston skirt in there just to make sure>< fuckers on the bullet

wife is going to be PISSSED if her jeep is broke. that means she has to drive my z28 to take the kids to and from school while i fix it. BLEHHHHH please god no. but on the flip side its a good time to rebuild the engine and trans with a new lift kit, tires and what not but sooo fucking expensive

Shouldn't take you more than an hour to figure out if it's an easy fix, or its staying apart. Stop stressing over possible internet diagnoses.
