So today i really got to see the result of poorly plasti dip rims.

My girlfriend asked me to redo them for her because her friend did it before and they were starting to get messed up. So i took it to the car wash to wash them off before i started trying to peel them.
When using the power washer like i would when washing my rims on my car, i actually blow off a big chunk of the plasti dip from one of the wheels. I laughed so hard.
Several more large chunks were shot off while washing them.

Once i got home, i brought them inside so i could sit down and peel them. They are peeling off in chunks about the size of a dime....
Across the whole rim.... So after 30 minutes of trying to peel the first rim unsuccessfully , i text the girl who originally did these for her and asked how many coats she applied.
2...... 2 fucking thin coats.
I've given up on trying to peel this, and used goo gone and a lot of scrubbing to get the first rim back to where it should be.
I think I'm going to just try and power wash the rest of the dip off the other 3 on my next set of days off.

For tonight, ive given up.
Any one else have bad experience with someone doing plasi dip wrong?
