Just hit 3k miles on the challenger. Not regretting the rather large investment at all. Car is just hella fun. Although i hate anything other then full manual clutches with a passion(hydraulic or hydraulic assisted) (like my red cars full manual clutch), i have to say that my challenger having the twin disc clutch nakes up for as it is solid as fuck. It also has the most solid shifting of any manual ive driven, and thats an astronomically high number of different vehicles. I did drive a camaro ss ( just to see what it can do) when i was waiting for them to finish the paperwork on my new car at the dealership and i tell ya what, in comparison, the ss was underwhelming and kinda just junk in general when it came to power delivery, shifting, steering and cornering feel. Felt like like a v8 cavalier... power of a v8, but with the cavys stock steering and suspension..yuk.. Was quite a drastic difference. Yup glad imma mopar guy

sure my car has the super track pack (track tuned upgraded suspension) with mopar performance upgraded steering from the factory..but still. no excuse for the piss poor ss performance in comparison for the same price even with my factory upgrades/packages

I've been kicking around the idea of buying a srt8 charger. The 4 doors with 3 kids is dope lol. Also get a 6.1

6.1? so an old srt8? they been at 6.4 for a few years now on the srt8's. I think when they changed engine manufacturers to eagle in 2011 model year is when it went from 6.1 to 6.4 along with the bump in power in the 5.7 from 340 to 375hp

i live less then 2 miles from road america, come on up :)

aint no better track to race on imo. probably the most dificult road course in america, and the world.

I think, irrc, it was rated the longest road track in the world (no nurburgring isnt in the same category of tracks) and rated the most difficult or second most difficult track

cant remember exactly but its prestigious as fuck for laying shit drivers in the sandtraps/grass/walls/ grandstands/etc

Well, if you plan on winning any races you may at least want to start with a track thats a little more... straight.

what manual? lol

i went to the dealership after work just to see what they all had one day. seen my now current challenger.. i walked into the dealership, went up to a salesman and said flatly "im taking that black 2014 6 speed challenger home with me before 5 - make it happen" and thats all there was to it. I gave them my current insurance info/drivers liscense, social, and other random shit they needed and that was it. I was on my way home with it at like 445. Took them an hour flat to do the trade in, all the paperwork, setup all the warantee and free service plans and xm subscription and everything, which i was actually impressed with lol.
