So I tinted my civic finally and was pretty upset cause newer models have a small window section right in front of the sideview mirrors, and when the guy came back with my car it was not tinted... I asked him why he didn't tint it and he said it's considered a front window and not legal to tint.

I have a four door sedan. I dont think coupes have the window

Is this true or should I complain

that looks horrible why would they put a separate window there like that? and yes the coupe has it too

I asked the salesman and he said noise reductio.

I honestly dont care but that's the biggest downer ever.
Also I got 30% and my car looks like its 15%

I've never had aftermarket tint cause all of my other cars have been pretinted at dealership.

do you have any friends that can tint? you can buy tint and do it yourself but i would make sure whoever does it knows what they are doing. those windows are small so it may not be bad. you might even be able to go to the guy that tinted the others and ask him to sell you a piece thats big enough to do both of those that way you have an exact match on your tint.

My cousin might do it cause he does his own tint, but he's vusy cause of family l. Ill probably tell him.

Is tint supposed to settle? Cause my car has pretty dark tint for 30%



i got angle with most light. but it's pretty dark. My neighbor is a cop and has the same tint so idk lol

tint tickets are really easy to deal with if thats what your worried about. i have 5% on my vette and only have gotten shit for it once but it got me out of a speeding ticket. if you get pulled over for just tint alone you found the douchebag cop.

I'm worried about the tint and my small little window lol.

Friend never got pulled over in his stang, until like 2 years later when he didnt signal to turn and cop slapped him with 5 tickets, including his tint.

but damn that little window looks fugly cause it looks so offsetting compared to my other windows...
