Chrysler on Tuesday said it would recall up to 792,300 sport utility vehicles to fix an ignition-switch problem, the same part involved in the massive General Motors recall.

Was probably because both GM and Dodge use a shit ton of imported parts. They probably both got the parts from the same Chinese part-maker.

Who doesn't use imported parts? Do you know what a 100% American made vehicle would cost?
